My Heavenly Gift Banner

Draw Your Sword

Background:

March 2012. About two years after I've been searching for the absolute path of true. For the past two years, I have been studying the bible every single day, meditating the Bible days and nights. During that time I have learned several times more than what I have learned in chruch in the past 12 years combined. And I have determined to continue to learn more.

Dream:

I was running in a park at night, alone. Not a single person around. I look up into the night sky, and I saw a disk shape UFO striped across the sky. To me, it looks like it was running away from something. I look again, and I saw several smaller UFOs chasing it's back.

I then turn around, trying to see what the UFOs were running away from. I see nothing. Nothing except seven stars blinking in the sky. The stars were in a pattern resembling the arrangment of the "Big Dipper" asterism.

I stared at the stars, trying to figure out what they are. When I look, the stars start to get brighter and brighter, until they lit up the whole sky. They were as bright as seven suns shining at the same time. It was too bright my vision was blinded and I could not even see.

I closed my dream eyes, let them adjust, and opened them again. Now I can see. It was now in the morning. The sky was bright and shines with white lights. I was still standing in the middle of nowhere. Mild winds were blowing towards me, leaves and sakura were falling with the wind filling up the entire visiable view. It was such a beautiful and elegant picture.

When I look again, I saw a piece of paper flying towards me. I reached out my hands and grabbed it. It was a "z-folded" card in red color. Words were written on the card both front and back. The cover page was written with gold ink, while the rest of the pages were written in black. I was unable to understand most of the writings, but somehow I know it was an invitation card to a wedding banquet. I read what I can understand. It was an invitation card to me to Jesus' wedding banquet. I tried to read the banquet date but I couldn't understand it. The only two pages I can understand were the cover invitation, and the last page.

The last page of the card looks like this: Imagine it was divided into three columns. The left column contained a name, a sword underneath the name, and a gold metal underneath the sword. The sword is unsheathed halfway. The right column contained another name, also a sword underneath the name and a gold metal underneath the halfway unsheathed sword. The top of the middle column, was my name. Underneath my name was a COMPLETELY SHEATHED sword and underneath the COMPLETELY SHEATHED sword was also a gold metal. Suddenly I heard a voice saying, "These people will be rewarded in an award ceremony during the wedding banquet."

I was so happy, not only because have I received the invitation, but I was also in the list of the ones to be awarded! However, I was not happy for long. When I looked to my name again, the gold metal below was changing into a sliver metal, then bronze... then it was fading away along with my name, disappearing. In my mind I said, "Oh no, don't!" I tried to focus on my name and the metal, hoping to have it back and firmly sticks... but it was not working. At that moment, I realized, if I wanted my name to stay there, if I wanted to be rewarded with the gold metal in the ceremony during the banquet, I must draw my sword!

My Thought:

I then woke up, in my bed. I was thinking, for all the time I've spent in learning about the Bible, yes I've learned alot, but none of the knowledge I've used to evangelize. I have never tried to expand the kingdom of God. No, I wanted that gold metal. I wanted my name to stick. I will use my knowledge to start a ministry. Today, I drew my sword!

Luke

19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
19:16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
19:17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
